The reorganization of a corner apartment in the city center allowed for exciting spatial connections and the creation of a modern family living environment.
Located on the third floor of a turn-of-the-century building in Budapest’s iconic Jewish Quarter, this 75 m² apartment was created by combining two separate units. Its windows overlook the Synagogue’s cemetery garden. The corner position and the merging of the inherited spacious “salon” rooms resulted in a particularly generous, open spatial structure, in which the flexible, large glass surfaces play a strategic role.
For the family with two children, a complex spatial system was developed: integrated wardrobes and storage units running along the entire wall surface, along with a separate utility room, ensure comfortable, fully functional living. The liberated, well-organized large spaces accommodate mobile, flexible furniture zones that can adapt to the family’s evolving needs.
