The reorganization of this three-story Bauhaus villa in Buda was designed for a family with one child. In reinterpreting the interior spaces inherited from multiple previous renovations, the original staircase and load-bearing walls posed the main constraints. In response, a unified, flowing spatial logic was created, clearly organizing the functions across the three levels.
The interior design concept relies on restrained, timeless materials: black, hot-rolled steel surfaces paired with oak flooring create a distinctive combination. The kitchen–living–dining area, bedrooms, utility room, and the child’s play zone are connected into a continuous spatial experience, with the original staircase serving as the structural spine of the house. The neutral base and subtle color geometry result in a generous and inspiring living environment.
