As a client, UPC gave free rein for its central office in Budapest to be realized as an office innovation. The three-story office space, measuring approximately 600–800 m², breaks away from the traditional linear layout with corridor-accessed rooms, instead defining generous, continuous spaces on each floor.

In collaboration with the Italian manufacturer International Office Concept, the building was stripped back to its structure, and office areas were created along the two façade planes, enclosed by glass surfaces. This resulted in a large-scale central open space, complemented around the perimeter by independent, flexibly configurable units. The integration of quiet work zones and communal areas followed a spatial model that is currently relevant on an international level.

The design philosophy of the Italian furniture brands featured in the communal zones further reinforced the project’s international orientation, making it a model in Budapest for modern work environments and design innovation.
